Gucci, Prada & Co.: More and more luxury brands want to come to the beautiful old town of Palma de Mallorca

Even more luxury brands want to settle down in Palma de Mallorca, but there is a lack of space.

More and more luxury brands are looking to set up shop on Mallorca in the future.

The shops in one of the island's most popular shopping streets are particularly sought-after: Passeig des Born in Palma de Mallorca. According to the MM sister newspaper Última Hora, international luxury companies are queuing up to secure a location. These include major brands such as Christian Dior, Prada, Gucci and Michael Kors. They are all on a waiting list and hope to be able to open their shops on Passeig des Born or in its catchment area soon.

Passeig des Born is located in the centre of Palma de Mallorca's old town. Some expensive brands already have branches, such as Louis Vuitton. This has been undergoing expansion for months.

Brands such as Cartier are also already on site (Placa Cort next to Hotel Mama - Cappuccino).

The luxury sector has definitely reached Mallorca!

Last year, luxury tourists spent around € 2,500 a day on their holidays. (Hotel, food, shopping, golf and much more...)

There are more and more direct connections to Mallorca from various destinations in Europe and direct flights from New York to Palma during the summer. Further overseas offers are being planned.

Many luxury hotels are now open all year round and Palma is ideal for a weekend city break.
